The Cheesecake Factory Encourages Guests to Share The Celebration with New Small Plates & Snacks Menu, Celebration Gifts and Interactive Online Sweepstakes

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Apr 23, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Even in these uncertain economic times, there's always a reason to celebrate; The Cheesecake Factory invites guests to share their special moments with family and friends - every single day. Whether it's in honor of a graduation, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or the simple fact that it's Tuesday, The Cheesecake Factory is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion.

"For more than 30 years, The Cheesecake Factory has been honored to be part of all types of celebrations, and we now invite guests to share their uplifting experiences for all to enjoy," says Founder David Overton. First, guests can start their celebration and share big with The Cheesecake Factory's all-new "Small Plates & Snacks" menu featuring 16 exciting flavor combinations all made fresh from scratch. Priced from $3.95 to $6.50, this new menu category includes items such as Beets with Goat Cheese, Hand Battered Onion Rings, Shrimp Scampi Crostini, Ahi Tartare, Stuffed Mushrooms, and Fresh Baked Pizzettes. Dishes can be shared as a pre-Appetizer or combined to create a tempting snack or satisfying meal.

"We have actually been developing our 'Small Plates & Snacks' menu for quite some time; however, we thought now was the perfect time to introduce it to help make The Cheesecake Factory even more accessible to Americans looking for reasons to get out and celebrate," says Mark Mears, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Additionally, guests who dine in any location (excluding Hawaii) from April 22 - May 10 (Mother's Day) or while supplies last, will receive a special springtime "gift" which includes two guest cards redeemable on a future visit:

  • One complimentary "Small Plates & Snacks" menu item with the purchase of every two entrees priced $9.95 or more,
  • One complimentary slice of cheesecake with every $30 purchase

Finally, The Cheesecake Factory today announces the start of its "Share Your Celebration" Sweepstakes encouraging guests to log on to www.thecheesecakefactory.com/celebrate to upload a photo coupled with their reason for celebrating. All photos will post to The Cheesecake Factory's Celebration Gallery and participants will be instantly entered for the chance to win a four-day trip for four to Celebration, Florida. The sweepstakes runs through June 30, 2009.
